I take a holistic, trauma-informed approach to anxiety therapy that addresses the mind and body.
My approach to anxiety therapy supports women in processing underlying stressors or past experiences contributing to anxiety, developing practical coping skills for safety and regulation. Anxiety therapy can help reduce anxious thoughts, build resilience, and create a greater sense of ease, presence, and self-trust in daily life.

Using trauma-informed approach to trauma therapy, I integrate modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Art Therapy, DBT Skills, and embodiment practices to support trauma healing without re-traumatization.
My approach to trauma treatment is design to help women who may be experiencing C-PTSD (complex relational trauma) from repeated difficult early childhood experiences or more acute single incident trauma that may result in PTSD.
I can help you regulate your nervous system, reduce symptoms such as hypervigilance, anxiety, and emotional numbing, and repair the impact trauma can have on self-worth and relationships. Over time, clients can experience greater stability, resilience, and a renewed sense of connection to themselves.

Because the bond with a pet is often deeply emotional and meaningful, this type of grief can feel isolating or misunderstood. Therapy for pet loss provides compassionate support for individuals grieving the death of a beloved animal companion.
Through gentle, supportive therapy—often incorporating creative, embodied, and trauma-informed approaches—clients can process grief, honor their bond, and navigate feelings of sadness, guilt, or emptiness at their own pace.
Pet loss therapy helps create space for remembrance, healing, and integration, allowing grief to be acknowledged while slowly making room for meaning, comfort, and emotional relief.

I offer periodic Art therapy groups and workshops online and in-person. Expect a supportive, guided space to explore emotions, build insight, and foster connection through the creative process.
As a licensed art therapist, these groups use art-making as a way to express feelings, reduce stress, and increase self-awareness—no art experience required.
In a group setting, participants benefit from shared experience, nervous system regulation, and a sense of community while engaging in meaningful, trauma-informed creative practices. Art therapy groups and workshops can support resilience, and personal growth in a way that feels accessible, empowering, and deeply human.

Art therapy is a therapeutic approach that uses the creative process to support emotional healing, self-understanding. You don’t need to be “artistic” to benefit—art becomes a tool for expression when words feel hard to find.
Through art therapy, clients can safely explore emotions, process trauma without becoming overwhelmed, reduce anxiety and reconnect with their bodies in a more compassionate way. The creative process helps access deeper insight, build resilience, and support meaningful change—often in ways that feel gentler than talk therapy alone.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a research-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing or traumatic experiences so they no longer feel overwhelming in the present. Rather than focusing on reliving the past, EMDR supports the nervous system in resolving stuck memories and emotional responses.
EMDR can help reduce symptoms of trauma, anxiety, and negative self-beliefs, allowing people to feel more grounded, confident, and in control. Many clients experience relief without needing to go into extensive detail about their experiences, making it a gentle yet powerful modality.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based therapy that helps people better understand and manage intense emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. It combines practical skills with mindfulness to support emotional balance and healthier relationships.
DBT can help reduce overwhelm, and emotional reactivity by teaching skills in emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. These tools empower clients to cope more effectively, build self-trust, and create a life that feels more stable, intentional, and aligned with their values.

An embodied approach to psychotherapy focuses on reconnecting with the body as a source of wisdom, safety, and self-trust rather than something to control or change.
Grounded in a Health at Every Size® (HAES) framework, this approach emphasizes body respect, intuitive care, and wellbeing at any size—without weight-centric goals or diet culture narratives.
Embodiment-based therapy helps clients tune into internal cues, regulate the nervous system, heal body image distress.
By prioritizing felt experience over outcomes, clients often experience reduced anxiety, increased self-confidence, and a deeper sense of presence, and wholeness.
